What goes around comes around - Frankie.

Where does the name Frankie. come from?

Frankie. is my nickname, it comes from my name Elodie Franchitti.

What made you start recycling denim?

I'm a big fan of denim and I love playing with the different shapes and washes. I've always loved to reuse unique pieces to make one of a kind creations.

Why tapestries?

When I was kid I remember watching my Mamie making cross-stitch. That was really inspiring and I wanted to give them a second life.  I also love using unique fabrics with an history for my creations.

Where did you learn your skills?

I studied Arts and Fashion in Bordeaux, France.

What makes Frankie. pieces so special?

The idea is to give a second life to vintage materials, creating products that would then be original and timeless. Each creation is handmade with love and care to make unique designs and creations. You won't find two identical Frankie. items anywhere...way to feel special!

Name your favourite East End vintage stores ?

Vintage lovers, I would recommend the Vintage Market on Brick Lane, Beyond Retro on Cheshire St and Atika on Hanbury St.
