Summer sale - Staff picks
Posted on July 01 2016
With the summer sale well underway, The Mercantile team have selected their top picks from the summer collections along with the reasons why it's made the grade (other than being a massive bargain).
Debra - "Anything 'artisan' really catches my eye. I love a crafted detail, such as embroidery to lift everyday basics and Antik Batik does this so well. The Morrison jacket will be helping me to carry on wearing my summer layers".
Was £261.00 Now £182.00
Lisa - "Trying to edit the Rodebjer collection for the store is really difficult as the fabrication is just so beautiful. The Mona kimono top and matching Odila skirt are perfect for a summer wedding, yet the olive green shade allows each piece to dressed down with an indigo denim for autumn".
Top was £286.00 Now £143.00 Skirt was £308.00 Now £154.00
Elodie - "Even though it's a small scale production, Tinsels manages to maintain French production, with French fabrics, whilst keeping an accessible price point. I love the sweet detail on each piece which is hardly noticeable, like the layered collar of the Guimar shirt but it makes it feel extra special..
Was £105.00 Now £52.00
Tjasa - " I love the simplicity of these Sol Sana Kennedy sandals, the wrap around design is really flattering on the foot and the leather is so soft. I can't think of anything these wouldn't go with and now they are the same price as a high street pair".
