“Fashion must be playful” – Stine Goya
Designer Stine Goya was born and brought up in the Danish countryside and moved to London in 1999 to study Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins. Her design studio STINE GOYA was then founded in 2006.
With collections designed to encourage women to express their individuality, colourful print and feminine silhouettes have been her signature style from her very first collection, with the result of breathing new life into the Scandinavian fashion scene.
Launching with Pre Fall 17 at The Mercantile London, the collection consists of bold print and colour with a playful and artistic approach.
The art world continues to be a constant influence on Stine’s work and she involves herself in inspiring collaborations with artists that fuel her own creativity and write new chapters in the STINE GOYA story.
The Lee Dress is from the Pre Fall 2017 collection which is inspired by the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. A dove from the Ark is sent to search the surroundings to see if there is life after the storm has finished. The Olive print is a graphic illustration of the olive branch the dove returns with.
