Baum Und Pferdgarten - Resort 2019 Collection “Lost in Transformation”

“For our resort 19 collection we were inspired by an aesthetic that is both poetic, contemplating and very silent. Our minds went to the calm and international atmosphere flourishing in the hotel bar of Park Hyatt - place where you can sit in an exclusive setting, surrounded by people from all over the world, while somehow still being all alone. Women in the bar are dressed for dinner and drinks in a perfect laid back manner. A world inside a world, a gathering of travelling citizens dressed in everything from chic dresses to conservative suits. With the collection we wanted to inspire a feeling of being lost in a big city, lost on the path you are travelling, lost in the midst of a transformation.”

For the Resort 19 collection creative directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave have created a collection that captures the feeling of a big city.

 Key looks include a flowy silk dress in shades of yellow paisley paired with a brown fake fur with colourful details introducing something cosy and masculine to a very feminine dress. Fluffy mohair knits in a light pastel yellow and soft sky blue - inspired by the feeling of a woman going out in a big city, while still embracing the relaxed contrast that is the essence of Baum und Pferdgarten.

Important colours from the collection include different shades of yellow, dark green, a bright purple and a strong pink. These are mixed with a cold sky blue and cumin brown for a very dramatic and colourful collection. Tartan prints are used to create a masculine twist to the feminine dresses and together with classic dots and pink checks create a collection with an abundance of life.

As always the leopard print finds its way to the collection - this time in a natural colour as to embrace the old school Baum und Pferdgarten spirit that still exists - even though the paths are changing.
