L.F.Markey is a collection of modern, feminine women’s clothing, inspired by workwear and utility. Known for the use of bold and bright fabrics as well as a core selection of denim pieces and contemporary re-working of workwear staples such as boiler-suits and workpants.

Namesake and ex-Burberry designer, Louise Markey graduated from the Masters course at Central Saint Martins and prompted by her passion for traditional bleus de travail and artist’s smocks, L.F Markey was born.

Committed to make clothes which are made in a safe, ethical environment where working conditions are fair L.F Markey pride themselves in sustainable practices and ethical manufacturing. They embody innovative cuts, bold colours and fine fabrics which are produced ethically and encourage slow, sustainable and considered fashion.

Having boutique-sized factories in China which are meticulously and consistently monitored by their supplier agents the factories have signed on to an internal ethical and safety compliance documents which is managed, inspected and enforced internally. The brand conduct frequent audit which cover areas such as worker safety, gender equality and payment of a living wage.

L.F. Markey makes a conscious decision to source sustainable fabrics and are in the process of moving their products into Global Organic Textile Standard certified organic textiles and hope to have achieved this by 2022.

To date, 65% of the cotton used is organic and any wool yarn for knitted products are now sourced exclusively from suppliers who adhere to the Responsible Wool Standard

Standout pieces this summer 22 season sees the best selling shapes such as the Sammy dress, produced in a limited edition Tuscan print made with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, Fergus, a unisex jean shape in indigo, the 70's style Danny boiler suit in a cobalt canvas, and unisex wide boxy shapes such as the Winston tee that appears in a thick wide stripe in sunny yellow.
