"Stretch your body and calm your soul. Find your flow and stay in the moment" - GAI + LIVSA
Now, more than ever its important to be looking after yourself as well as others, and we find that a gentle yoga session is one of the best way to ease tense muscles and steady the mind.
The GAI + LISVA brand story began in 2007. They started as a concept store with handpicked items in central Aarhus, and now have their own brand label where they can ensure their vision for conscious clothing. The name GAI + LISVA is a part of the designer's family history and represents two old family homes. Carrying on the family history and memories from their childhood, the GAI+LISVA brand is built on strong family values with an appreciation for the Nordic calm attitude, and with respect for their countries natural surroundings.
Whilst you can practise in any comfortable clothing we find one or two quality pieces help to motivate you in practising and ensure you aren't distracted by adjusting your clothing in poses. The GAI + LISVA approach is "simple, Nordic, and natural" and the brand hopes to make the wearer "feel at home in your body". They create classic styles, in a neutral palette with no branding, which makes them suitable as work wear and home wear, as well as movement wear.
GAI + LISVA work with a conscious mind, and a transparent production. To make their production and products easier to understand, the brand have developed their own responsibility icons including sustainable packaging, EU production, (including to GOTS standards) and recycled fabrics.
