Müll Club - a new form of activism

This ring is made out of 100% recycled plastic waste collected from the community of Brockley. Each ring has a combination of plastic, it includes black and white single use cutlery and clear take away food containers. Giving this blend the name Take Out. 

As a lot of clear is used in this blend you really get to see the beautiful pattern of the plastic as it has flowed through the mould. And every ring will be slightly different with its very own marbling patterns.

The images are an example as every ring has slightly different markings. This is a statement piece, not only is the ring stunning, this is a key part of the conversation around recycling and single use plastic.

Müll Club actively recycles plastic waste from homes across the UK through a pioneering recycling scheme, transforming discarded plastic into long-products.

With only 12% of the UK's plastic waste currently recycled domestically, Müll was born out of frustration with a failing government’s inaction. The team decided to take matters into their own hands.

By collecting and recycling plastic waste within local communities, Müll significantly reduces the carbon footprint associated with traditional recycling methods. Showcasing a marbling effect created by their specific recycling process.

Their creations have been featured in Vogue, Elle, and Tatler, helping to change the perception of plastic waste.
