Tesoro is the Spanish word for treasure, the collection is based on old Spanish doubloons, the design is inspired by a replica of these coins which are regularly depicted as pirate treasure, a little fun twist on the history of gold as treasure, its worth and its beauty

The cross on the coin indicates the close tie between religion and government in Spain in the 16th and 17th century.
