Introducing - L:A Bruket

Building on the principles of design and ceramics, L:A Bruket co-founder Monica Kylén began exploring skincare out of necessity. As a trained ceramic artist, Monica was creating a line of homeware products and needed a wholesome, natural soap to demonstrate the functionality of her design. Unable to find any that met her philosophy for design and quality, she set out making some for herself. This is how L:A Bruket started and still operates today.

The brands approach to fragrance and aroma is founded in the belief that the benefits of the products should be first and foremost. With the fragrance adding a sense of nourishment, cleansing, invigoration or relaxation - depending on which scent story is selected.
The scent base is reflective of the natural and wholesome ingredients, giving the products a spiced and herbal fragrance. Designing them like this was intentional as L:A Bruket believe in offering a range that is not based on gender, but personal preference.

With the brand located in Varberg, one of Sweden’s most well-known spa towns, the collection is inspired by the heritage and respect it’s residents, and visitors, have for the healing power of the coast - specifically salt, seaweed and water.

For years, salt, water and seaweed based treatments, in summer and winter, have been a routine way of life and attracted people from all over. This heritage and history is filled with knowledge that the creators of L:A Bruket are proud to incorporate into their products.

Active ingredients of the collection include:

Shea butter which protects against the elements by creating a physical barrier against the cold and water, heals and adds antioxidants.

Rosemary - Stimulates the nervous system, sharpens attention and the ability to think clearly, with a powerhouse of antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties.

Lavender - Soothing, calming, and helps to soothe an overstimulated nervous system, helps to deal with anxiety and insomnia.

Lemongrass - A great all-rounder due to its ability to boost energy levels and alleviate fatigue, along with having antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Peppermint – Strongly disinfectant, cooling when skin is raw and irritated by shaving or the cold.
