Just Female AW 2017 collection. Oskara Tigers.
"Patent leather, bulky knits, electric colours and sleeved statements. Inspired by the Japanese city Oskara, where youthful, energizing vibes run through the streets. Oskara Tigers is a story about the geometric buildings, the distinct colours and the girls strolling through the street".
This season the Just Female collection is set in Oskara, Japan. The city is characterised by its energised atmosphere. The street culture is vibrant and edgy, mixing music and fashion, blending with the traditional Japanese art and architecture, a feeling of being decorated, yet with a very minimalist expression.
The collection is capturing this influence in the mix of prints that have both soft, nature references, traditional Japanese art influences and old kimono patterns, mixed with clean and simple graphic prints.
The collection merges the Japanese cuteness of kawaii and the sporty street edginess to reveal itself in pretty details such as statement ruffles in shirting, off the shoulder blouses and leather jackets in bold colour options, mixed with clean shapes and silhouettes that are key to every Just Female collection.
The inspiration from strong personalities met on their travels plays a central part in the AW collection and it is named Oskara Tigers in order to underline the boldness in the collection. The eagerness to dare is shown in the bold colours like the warm orange inspired by the traditional Japanese temples, strong cherry pink and delicate lavender.
The desire to express is strong shown via statement t-shirts and sweatshirts all inspired by the graphics of the street signs and mixed with sports influenced college wear.
Just Female AW17 collection available in-store and selected pieces on-line.
