Hultquist Copenhagen is a Danish jewelry company founded by Anne Hultquist back in 1980. In 2018, the younger generation Ida and Martin Hultquist started in the family business, where they brought their own vision to the company with a fresh, new jewellery collection .
As the company's designer, Ida has managed to turn Hultquist into a young and colorful jewelry brand, combining modern touches with classic silhouettes, and a simple Scandinavian expression. The design of the jewellery reflects Ida's interests through nature, art and architecture.
Each piece of jewelry is handmade and produced in high quality sterling silver and plated with 18 carat gold, often combined with freshwater pearls, precious stones, glass pearls and cubic zirconia. Contemporary in design, with the mix and match styling that Scandi brands love so much, the collection includes statement single earrings to match with your everyday pieces and rings made to stack, have more than a touch of romantic nostalgia.
FieldDay was created in 2002 when Alix, from County Down was inspired to capture and bottle the native scents from the fragrant fields of her Irish countryside. Growing for over 20 years, she has a small knit team (with the oldest member just celebrating her eightieth birthday) she is more passionate than ever about the great Irish outdoors and creating fragrances that soothe and inspire. The fragrances celebrate Ireland’s wildflowers, particularly the ordinary and especially 'weeds'. Gorse, honey, blackberries, tea leaves and nutmeg, are just some of the fragrance notes you’ll find in this seasons offer.
In a world obsessed with making things quicker, where immediacy is all that matters, Field Day put in the thinking, the ingredients and, above all else, the time to create beautiful fragrances that soothe and inspire. Mass production, this definitely isn't. All of the candles are hand poured in small batches at FieldDay HQ in County Down. Candle making is an art, and like all good things, take time. Each one of the candles is double-poured by chandlers Ella and Esther. It’s an old fashioned, slow process that can’t be rushed, but they believe you’ll see the difference in how their candles burn and throw scent around your home.
FieldDay prize their wild places, beaches and fields and believe that business should be a force for good in helping to conserve these places for future generations. That's why they are doing their bit to conserve Irish wildlife and habitats under threat by supporting Ulster Wildlife.
Vegan and cruelty free, the candles come with a paper seed lid infused with wildflower seeds to grow; plant them in the candle vessel they came in or any recycled container you may have to do your bit to encourage the wildlife in your own little area.
