Pre Collection // Bellerose
This season the Pre collection by Bellerose is influenced by all things second-hand and antique. Using the vintage markets of their home city Brussels and under the title an "organized bazaar" the design team gathered a treasure trove of pieces to draw inspiration. From the flea market in the Marolles area which acts as a "magnet for bargain hunters and vintage aficionados alike" and the Sunday market (which like our own here in Spitalfields) "gathers lost tourists and antique dealers" the end result has hints to vintage styles but in a blown-up oversized —and therefore modernized—version. The signature mixing of textures remains with soft wools, fuzzy faux fur, soft lyocell from Portugal appearing in timeless shapes. As ever their accessories remains strong with colour and pattern making its mark.
