Summers biggest jewellery trend.

Summers biggest jewellery trend.

Summers biggest jewellery trend.

One of the summer seasons biggest trends in jewellery has been the emergence of the shell motif and the use of natural materials you'd be lucky to find on a tropical beach, such as turquoise, coral and pearl. Picked up on by the major design houses last season where it took on a more luxury appearance - it has now trickled down to the street and the influencers at a much friendlier price point.

Tiny cowrie shells and freshwater pearls can be found delicately hanging from turquoise necklaces, softly coloured cotton thread bracelets are mixed with gold fill chains and puka shells, and oversized pearl orbs and slices of mother of pearl swing from mismatched hoop earrings.

Not just for the summer season - this influence looks set to run into the autumn season with the introduction of precious gold and silver versions, with tones of cream, vanilla and mint elevating these pieces and keeping them from looking too 'beachy'.

As the days draw in keep your summer memories alive as you mix these styles alongside your everyday favourites - becoming a comforting reminder of long, hot days spent on the beach when the sun has disappeared for autumn.
