Mood of the season - Mondano Part Two

Wood Wood spring/summer 18 runway show - MONDANO  - Milan.

Inspired by the Italian notion of 'la dolce vita' and a trip to the Amalifi coast and island of Capri, the Wood Wood spring/summer collection which was entitled 'Mondano' used the beauty and colours of the Italian landscape.  Combined with Anthony Minghella's film classic, 'The Talented Mr.Ripley' which was shot on location in Ischia, the collection sees the combining of a classic colour palette with bold shots of orange and Amalfi yellow.

Prints are inspired by local signage discovered on the trip and quotes from famous Italians and appear on the Wood Wood aesthetic of clean street-wear influenced pieces.
